I actually remember when this place opened. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I absolutely love their bagels. Whenever I come home from college I always have to stop by here for a breakfast sandwich. They have great bagels and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Add a side of home fries and you’ve got yourself a satisfying breakfast!
Always super friendly, bagels are very good. It’s nice to see a busy operation that is properly staffed, plenty of hands on deck taking care of the customers. They also have a Spiderman statue which automatically makes them better.
No better bagel shop this side of the Hudson River. Medford bagel is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Friendly staff and owner, it’s a true home town spot. Can’t go wrong here!
The chicken soup was delicious, I was sick so I decided to try it. I didn’t think a bagel shop would have homemade soup but it was out of this world with fresh veggies and all white meat chicken. I knew the bagels and cream cheese were also excellent but this soup is a must try.
So yummy! It’s a bagel shop, but all of their food is so good. I called in my food, and it was a slow Monday so it was ready in like 10/15 mins. The staff on the phone was super friendly, and my food was ready when I came in. My family got got a greek omelette with homefries, a western wrap with cheddar cheese, and tall pancakes.
Whenever I visit my brother we come here for breakfast. They are always polite and the place is bright and clean. Oh and the food is great.
I have been coming to Medford Bagel Shop for years — with friends, family, and by myself before work and as a place to read. The shop is a neighborhood staple in that it is lively and long-standing: few local businesses have been around so long. It is clear why the shop is a local institution: the service and food is excellent, but the staff are what makes this place a destination and a staple. Special shout-out to Eric, Marge, Laura, and Emily. They are quick with their kindness and are so welcoming. I would be remiss not to mention the shop's collaboration with local high school programs to assist in employment for students. This shop's strong community support is appreciated and is yet another reason why it'll always be a Medford favorite of mine.

I almost don't want to tell you about this place it's that good. Privately owned, this place makes fresh bagels daily with at least 20 varieties. Fresh deli and sandwiches to order. Seating, while limited, is always clean. Friendly and patient the staff works tirelessly to keep things moving in this busy place. If there is a line out the door for loose bagels, don't be intimidated or dismayed. They are really fast. In 30 years, I have never been in line for more than 10 minutes at peak.
